For those who are not just interested in doing winter sports but also appreciate peace and silence, our romantic village which is situated in the Western part of the Ötztal is ideal for that. Sautens is a quiet starting point ideally located to get to different skiing resorts which are very close to our village.
Our valley offers a good network of free skiing buses which take you to the skiing resorts Hochoetz (2km) and Kühtai (18km).

Sautens is situated at an altitude of 810 m at the doorway of the Ötztal. In summer it is a paradise for hikers and in winter it is a shiny little world of snow and skiing. Cross-country-skiing slopes complete the wide range of offers of winter sports in Sautens - a great program for the whole family.


Sautens is located in the heart of the Tyrolean skiing centres. About 10 famous skiing resorts are easy to reach within 30 minutes. Free ski buses comfortably take you to the ski lifts of Oetz, Kühtai, Sölden, Obergurgl-Hochgurgl, which means no parking stress.
