Where is Sautens situated
The Ötztal is located in Western Austria namely in the province Tyrol in a southern valley of the Inntal.

How to get there:
from the west:

from Vorarlberg to Tyrol along the Arlbergpass or the Arlberg tunnel (S16) - Landeck - motorway A12 - exit Ötztal - B 186 (35km) in direction to Umhausen-Niederthai.

from the north:

Bad Tölz - Achenpass - B 181 - Jenbach - A12- Innsbruck - exit Ötztal - B186 (35 km) Pfronten - Reutte - Fernpass - Imst - A 12 - exit Ötztal or B171 until Ötztal (no road charge) - Garmisch Partenkirchen - Ehrwald - Lermoos - Fernpaß - Imst - A 12 - exit Ötztal or B 171 until Ötztal (no road charge) - B186 - Garmisch Partenkirchen - Mittenwald - Scharnitz - Seefeld - Telfs - A12 - exit Ötztal or B 171 until Ötztal (no road charge) - B186 (35 km)

from the east:

from Munich or Salzburg along the A 93 until Kufstein, afterwards on the A 12 via Innsbruck until Ötztal, afterwards on the B 186

from the south:

From Meran in South Tyrol via the Timmelsjoch to Umhausen-Niederthai in the Ötztal B 186. Alpine road at about 2.500 m, the border is open from the beginning of June until the middle/end of October, you have to pay a road charge.


By car:

Public means of transportation

By plane
In order to make it as short as possible for you, non-stop flights to Innsbruck from Hamburg, Cologne and Hanover are available.
